Ok folks, this is the last update until at least next weekend.

Not going to have access to a computer this week, or the week after, but I will be around for the weekend in between.

In other news, my cat has developed an unexplainable limp in her right front leg.

Been to about five different vets in the last two weeks...

“It could be cancer, neurological, something with her heart, an infection, a clot (yes, I felt like banging my head on the table from the sheer irony) or an Injury. From the exam I’m guessing injury, though I can’t rule out practically anything else. Steroids should help.” 1st vet, male.

“She got worse and now she won’t eat.” me

“Ok. It isn’t her heart, It doesn’t seem to be cancer either. It could still be a clot, we can’t really tell. (again with the head banging urge) but I think it’s Neurological. take her off the steroids, they won’t help. Give her iv fluids cus she’s dehydrated.” 2nd vet. 1st vet’s co-worker, female.

“It’s not anything in her spine, she probably has a mass on a nerve in her leg. Amputation should solve it.” veterinary neurologist. Male.

“Uh, no I don’t think you need to amputate. She seems to be doing ok now.” 2nd vet.

“Uh, yeah. She’s been doing better since we took her off the steroids...hmm...maybe it was an infection....” me

Ah, the irony....
